You can minimize crashing with mods like NVAC but good luck getting rid of them completely. However I get a crash on average maybe every 5 hours of gameplay or so. It crashes occasionally but New Vegas always has in certain situations on any OS, not the best optimized game in the world. I was just playing new vegas heavily modded last week on win 10 with the latest drivers just fine.
